Honda Insight LX Hybrid uses the same 1.3-liter Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system found in the current-generation Honda Civic Hybrid, but the evolution of the system during the Insight's development has cut the IMA cost by 50 percent.

"This new Insight will break new ground as an affordable hybrid within the reach of customers who want great fuel economy and great value."
